Sometimes happens that you open a book from the middle to get some opinion about whether u gonna like it or may be to throw it from the window.
You don’t even imagine that this book gonna change your life forever!!!!!
And it really happened.
How I got that book, it was really magical I swear 2 god, may be I can tell you it's story later on.
But now I will escape the 1st part and go directly to tell you about the 2nd part, which tells how I got deeply involved in the "Alchemist" World.
Once upon a night, I returned back from a usual boring outing with some ordinary boring friends.
I was in a real bad mood, fetched anything to do to freak that mood out, opened and closed the tv more than a time, switched my mob on an' off, turned the light on an' off as well, then I noticed a thrown book on the floor. It was given to me by a dear girlfriend which was the last time I saw her ever.
I began to look at the cover of the book, the title was" The Alchemist, the dessert secret."
"What an ordinary cheap fuckin title." I thought..
I made up my mind to try some inner lines, and that I wouldn’t loose anything except some extra boring time.
And here came the moment that changed my opinion about the book, and towards life itself!!!!
"he hold book in his hand, which had been brought by a member of the convoy, it has no cover ,but he was able to identify the writer's name 'Oscar Wilde'. "
When he turned the pages, he caught sight of a story that was talking about the handsome young man "Narcissus" who went every day to see his beautiful face on the water surface of the lake.
Some day he went as usual, accidentally fell into the lake, and sank.
In the place where he died grew a flower called after his name: 'The flower of Narcissus'.
Later the goddess of the forest noticed that the lake had turned into a lake of bitter tears.
The goddess asked the lake why she was weeping. The lake answered she was weeping for Narcissus
The goddess replied that although all of the forest was after him to see his beauty closely but u were the only one who was always able to capture his face on your surface
And continued surprisingly: "Was he beautiful then?"
The lake remained silent for a moment then said:
"Am crying him not for the sake of his own beauty, unfortunately I hadn’t ever noticed how beautiful he was. Indeed I am crying because every time he bent down to see his face, then and only then I was able to see my own beauty reflected through his eyes"!!!!!!!
What a surprise!!!. I opened random pages to find out that some hero of the novel is practicing the same experience.
You know, some how like the theory of a man standing between two opposite mirrors seeing his reflection infinite times, and how those magical words I have read are talking also about the reflections between the lake and Narcissus.
What is that Book?" I thought"
Then I came to believe deeply that it is a mirror, anyone can see himself in it.
I returned to the cover to catch the title again, "The Alchemist".
I looked up the word meaning to find out that:" The alchemist is driven from the word Alchemy which means the old chemistry and it is known as the science which studies all the marking patterns, signs and symbols through which communication is achieved among people."
I went through the novel tasting every word, every sentence, and every paragraph.
Some times I returned back to taste the words again and again.
"Santiago" the andalusian shepherd started his journey searching a buried treasure near the pyramids of Egypt. Started from Spain when he met the King of Salem who appeared like an angel explaining Santiago's repeated dream .Through the "Strait of Gabal Tarek", Morocco, and "The Great desert" till Egypt facing signs of his fateful metaphysical journey representing the life journey itself.
And on his way to find the dream, many events occur, each event, including an almost impossible to prevent him from continuing his journey.
He lost his money twice, worked in the glass shop, accompanied by English man who wanted to be an alchemist, involved in a war which was raging between arabian tribes.
Meeting a real "Alchemist" who knew the great secrets of the universe who was also like him searching his own legend,- which was turning the cheap metals into gold-.
At the same time Santiago met his great love "Fatima" or "Fatma".
He got into a hard self struggle to decide whether to stay with his love or to continue his journey to achieve his dream and his own legend.
But Fatima told him with her magical deep voice: "sand dunes always change due to the will of the wind, but the desert always stays the same, and likely our great love"
By those words he decided to continue his journey.
The story ends by a magnificent ending:
When he reached the place where his treasure was supposed to be-beside the pyramids of Egypt-, he found nothing by the time he had finished digging.
Unfortunately also he was met by highway robbers who stole also his money.
One of them made fun of him telling him laughing, that he also saw a dream about finding a treasure near a church in a place in Spain.
Many feelings passed by Santiago at the same time, but finally he was satisfied with his journey and considered it his treasure.
Ironically when he returned back home in Spain he saw and distinguished the place which was described by the highway man thief, He dug in the same very place to find his treasure finally!!!!!!
What such a book?!!!! Is the author "Paolo Coelho" is an ordinary man like us or may be he is a wizard?!!!
I can give this book the name of "The Book of Life ".
It is so simple in its narrative way, but inside those simple words enveloped the great secrets of the relation between man and the whole universe
I began to search for God inside in myself, and outside in his universe as well, also I began to notice the treasure deeply inside my heart .
Now I love because I love, there is no reason to love for and when I love I must be sure that I will find God.
I began to think about my desires and dreams, believing that the whole world will come along to achieve my desires. And in my way journey to achieve my dream, I have not to be afraid of taking risks because what I will face and meet in my life was written, so I have to face them courageously,
Thinking of death in a good way as it will sure come oneday, so I turned to concentrate in my present time as it is truly what I get indeed.
Finally I came to believe in my self however my role is so simple compared to others', as my role is truly affecting the world somehow.
My life is changed completely!!!!
